摘要
The diversity of technologies in today's world has made Smart city a reality and contribute to improving living conditions. Smart transportation is one of the smart city aspects that aims to solve many problems in cities such as traffic congestion problems, lack of parking lot and others. In this paper, we propose a smart transportation platform for analyzing and designing smart private transportation applications. The proposed model can be served as a blueprint for smart parking application projects in order to solve the lack of parking slot problems. The proposed model can be used for deriving an optimal routing model based on the traffic congestion in order to alleviate traffic congestion during peak time and reduce the travel time, fuel consumption and CO2 emission. The evaluation results show that the proposed model can improve the quality indexes and with the derived optimal routing model, it can have improvements in terms of travel time, fuel consumption and CO2 emission that have been decreased.
