摘要：

Imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine-based tosylhydrazone was prepared and treated with K2CO3 in dioxane at 110 degrees C to generate the corresponding carbene in situ. It was coupled with a variety of aryl alcohols in one pot to obtain a series of imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine derivatives possessing aryl ether moiety at C-3 position.
