摘要
The penetration processes of the long rod projectile against metal targets are analyzed using the method of finite element Lagrange method, the main physical figures and patterns from penetrating progress are obtained and the results of simulation are discussed. The process of deformation and the stress propagation in both projectile and target are discussed, the kinetic energy about long rod projectile in different progresses are studied, and the effects of different structure targets to penetration processes are studied. The results indicated that the penetration process can be divided into four different stages and different target structures have an obvious effect to penetration and protection of the targets, which can give instruction to design of projectiles and targets.
