摘要
A key element of European integration is of that Trans-European Networks which will affect the poorer peripheral states of the enlarged EU and also have significance for the congested central regions. There is recognition of the need for considerable infrastructural investment, which will have considerable implications for both the inter- and intraregional distribution of economic activity that could be quantified. This paper examines the scope and nature of the effects of European transport Corridors' I-st and IX th expansion reflecting the economic structure and convergence processes proposing the method to measure them.
