The high-resolution FTIR spectrum of jet-cooled CH3CF2Cl

摘要
The infrared spectrum of HCFC-142b, CH3CF2Cl, has been recorded at high and low resolution using a supersonic jet-FTIR spectrometer system. Molecular parameters for a number of vibrational states have been obtained from rovibrational analyses of the C-type bands nu(14) (1192 cm(-1)) and nu(15) (967 cm(-1)), the A-type band nu(7) (905 cm(-1)), and the B-type bands nu(5) (1234 cm(-1)) and nu(7) + nu(11) (1215 cm(-1)). A rotational temperature of ca. 50 K in the jet expansion has been estimated from a comparison of the experimental spectrum with band simulations calculated using the resultant molecular constants.
