摘要
Eyebrow is an important organ in human beauty, expression and protection of eyes. Common causes of eyebrow loss are burn, trauma, neoplasm, and internal factors. The most common cause of eyebrow loss in this study is burn meanwhile I had one case with giant hairy nevous and two cases with trauma. Eyebrows were totally destroyed in 15 cases but in 5 cases they were partially lost. Classic pedical for island flap is posterior superficial temporal artery, 4 cases were reconstructed through posterior superficial temporal artery whereas in 4 cases I used anterior superficial temporal artery. Avantages of this methods are good hair direction, limited dissection, normal hair growth and favourable scar. Seven cases were operated through interpolitation flap in two stages. This method is used in cases which hadnot good superficial temporal artery e.g. in previous thrombosis or fibrosis. 5 cases were operated through strip and micropunch graft. In this study I compared the results of applying each method.
