摘要
The virtual contact loading method (VCLM)[1] is developed in this paper to solve various smooth and frictional contact problems considering material and geometric nonlinearities. The fundamental principle is illustrated in detail. The calculated results for some examples agree well with Hertzian solutions. The convergence rate and efficiency are discussed and have been verified to be satisfactory. The VCLM is a reliable numerical method with higher efficiency.
