Research and Development of Intelligent Timing System Used in School Sports and Physical Education

This essay introduces a intelligent timing system used in school sports and physical education, which was built by the skill of electrommunication, network communication and database technology. In this system, a wireless real-time timer technique was adopted and communication master station was used. As a result, timing data can be real-time transmitted, stored and analyzed. Owing to the special-used hardware and software, various functions, such as setting up single or multiple timing device network, split time data and toal time data acquisition, data gathering, data exhibition, data inquiring, data storing and data analysis, can be achieved. The use of the system can help teachers and coaches solve the problem on dealing with the data, which could be a great help in improving work efficiency. This system is useful to not only in the sphere of school sports and physical education, but also in other spheres.
