Discussion of Digital Library Storage System

With the rapid development of information technology and network technology, and the surge in information needs, digital resources have become the core resources of today's information society. Library's communication needs for image and sound processing is growing, traditional library resource storage system has been unable to meet the rapidly growing storage needs of data, which promote the reform and development on the ways of library management and service. This paper would analyze the applications of several common storage technology in the digital library, study how to formulate economically affordable storage strategy which start from the actual needs of library; and ultimately to explore ways of how to select the appropriate storage system in many storage system.
