摘要
In this paper, a camera calibration method based on improved ellipse fitting is proposed. First, Hough Transform and the Least Squares are used to fit ellipse of calibration graph. Then, by means of the invariance of the eigenvalue of the confocal curve projection mapping, the homography matrix is obtained in the form of cubic projection. And the generalized eigenvalue decomposition is carried out to get the internal parameters of the camera. Compared with the traditional chess method, the calibration method proposed in this paper does not need to extract feature points and has a faster calibration speed and guaranteed the accuracy of calibration results.
