摘要
Results obtained on microwave irradiation method to prepare Ruthenium (Ru) nanoparticles on nitrogen doped carbon nanotubes (N-CNTs) are reported. The N-CNTs were prepared by chemical vapour deposition. X-ray diffraction, high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HR-TEM) and Raman techniques were used to characterise the Ru/CNT material. The results show that the microwave assisted method allows synthesis to be achieved using shorter reaction times, reduced energy consumption than conventional heating. The results of HR-TEM show a good dispersion of metals on the N-CNTs. Ru nanoparticles with very narrow size distribution and small particle size with an average diameter of 2.5 nm on N-CNTs were obtained.
