Autonomic fault tolerance solution for mobile devices

Mobile devices are increasingly becoming an inseparable part of our lives. However these devices do not have resources like. a desktop and work in wireless environment. This makes applications running on these devices vulnerable to faults. In future ubiquitous computing world, user attention will also become a resource, so the need is to develop an autonomic system to provide fault tolerance to applications running on mobile devices. In this paper, we present designs of such a solution. We aim to provide a composite solution which does not require user intervention and finds out most suitable fault tolerance mechanism out of available ones.
