摘要
Russia as sociology subject discusses the issue of whether Russia might become a subject of its own for sociological study. There are at least two ways to do so, one being production of new judgements on "Russia", while the second consists in problematization of social, political, and ontological conditions for producing authentic sociological knowledge about Russia. Having discussed, i.a., some preconditions for an existence of "Russian sociologists", the author concludes that it is time to replace phenomenological thinking in sociology by a topologic one. Here, certain ideas of M. Heidegger (such as Heidegger's notion of the Gegnet) might be interpreted as a transition from horizontal transcendental structure of thinking to a topological one. This is a way to unite things seemingly remote and to differentiate things seemingly close, almost identical.
