摘要
Recently, using ultrasound to image the bone has attracted researchers' attention. Accurate sound speed estimation is crucial for bone ultrasound imaging. In this paper we use a bone phantom to investigate the feasibility of combining ultrasound speed estimation and reverse time migration to imaging the bone and characterization. Compared with constant velocity result, the inhomogeneous velocity distribution estimated by bent-ray assumption has the ability to image the inner layer of the bone, which is promising in bone diagnosis application.
