Wind response behaviour of a power transmission tower using new displacement measurement

摘要
The paper reports on a new, highly accurate, measurement system that determines the response displacement of a power transmission tower under the severe weather condition of strong winds. Some new ideas and devices for measuring against various background noises in measurement are introduced. The displacement behavior of a tower of 200m in height, in strong winds, is discussed using the data measured by the system.
