摘要
In this article, a printed planar low VSWR monopole antenna with a new modified ground plane for ultra-wideband (UWB) and 2.6 GHz LTE-band applications is presented. The dimensions of proposed antenna structure are optimized to achieve low VSWR performance. The antenna is fabricated on a low cost FR4 epoxy substrate and tested. The proposed antenna return loss is below -15 dB within bandwidth 2.5-13.2 GHz. The antenna has an omni-directional radiation patterns. The measured results show a good resemblance with simulated results.
