摘要
In our paper we present a method for the investigation of glass melting-furnaces with inactive tracing. The tracer for borosilicate glasses was gadolinium, while in the cases of glasses containing no boron, gadolinium or boron were used. The traced glass samples were measured with PGAA. The high boron background makes the evaluation of the PGAA spectra of borosilicate glasses difficult. We proved that the coincidence method is suitable for eliminating the high boron background. Currently we are working on the comparison of the Compton suppression and the coincidence methods.
