Implementation of Authentic Assessment Based on 4C/ID-Model with Competence-Based Learning in Higher Vocational Education

摘要
This article argues how competence-based learning (CBL) can be developed in higher vocational education by integrating elements from a four component instructional design model with recent ideas on authentic assessment. A curriculum based on this model is perfectly suitable for an assessment approach emphasizing that proof of competency is gathered by having students perform authentic tasks under changing assessment conditions.
