Study on natural resources management for sustainable economic development in China

Natural resources are material foundation for sustainable economic development. Sustainable utilization of natural resources is a critical factor for fully realizing resources economy society on the basis of the equilibrium of ecological and environmental development. To enhance natural resources utilization is the key factor for realizing socioeconomic sustainable development. An overview of the contributions of natural resources and the challenges facing the natural resource sectors are given in the paper. Based on the idea of sustainable economic development, the mathematical models are established to effectively distribute natural resources and to propose a method for studies on natural resources management in this paper. A series of principles of natural resources management for sustainable economic development are proposed in this paper.
