摘要
This article examines usefulness of one of selected prediction methods, which are classic trend models, to develop results of aging tests of composite insulators. Treating the final observation, alternatively a number of final observations, as a value of realizations, an ex post forecast error was determined. Due to small values of the ex post error, the following method can be proposed that reduces the number of measurements by determining the values of final observations based on the determined trend, which will reduce the time of conducted measurements.
