Impact of Linear Regulator, Installed in the Electric Grid of Energy Supply Company, on Power Losses

摘要
Possibility of decreasing energy losses, caused by mutual influence of nonuniform electric grids, operating in parallel, by means of introduction of phase shift transformer in previously determined optimal branch of the grid and usage of its optimal angle for current operation mode is proved on the example of 230/6 kV electric gride. It is also proved that the application of phase shift transformer with optimal angle in the branch, determined by maximum non-uniformity index enables to reduce both power losses in the grids of lower voltage and total power losses in power transmission systems and distribution grids, preventing the flow of transient power from higher voltage grids into the grids of lower voltage.
