摘要
In this paper, a new scheme which is called flow p-cycle based on dual routing engine (DRE) is proposed for the protection in multi-domain optical networks. This scheme can protect not only inter domain links, but also intra-domain links and nodes, so it has better spare capacity efficiency. Based on DRE, the computation time of flow p-cycle and the recovery time of failure can be less than that of flow p-cycle without DRE. Through the simulation research in multi-domain optical networks, we draw the conclusions that the flow p-cycle protection scheme has better spare capacity efficiency than p-cycle at a little cost of minor increment of recovery time, and the computing time of flow p-cycle with DRE is less than that without DRE.
