Design of fractal program and its application in prevention for coal mine gas disaster

摘要
Gas disaster is the most serious factor of coal mine safety. Fractal theory provides a newly quantitative method for preventing for coal mine gas disaster, whose applications of fractal theory in gas geology include calculation of fractal dimension and plotting of contour. At present, these applications are disposed mainly by handwork. Therefore, efficiency, precision and reliability of disposal are lower, which restricts fractal theory to be more widely applied in prevention for gas disaster. In order to overcome disadvantages of handwork treatment, the box dimension algorithm of fractal dimension calculation and triangulation net method of contour plotting are researched and a set of fractal program is developed by Visual C++, which includes two modules of fractal dimension calculation and contour plotting. At last, the characters of fault distributing in a mine are analyzed using the fractal program, whose results indicate this program provide a convenient tool for fractal theory more widely and thoroughly applying in prevention for gas disaster and possess higher application values.
