摘要
All XML's reverse engineering focuses on the XML transformation into a conceptual model. The result of the transformation is presented in a variety of diagrams. This work maps XML Schema into a generic object oriented database schema and store related XML document into the database. This process preserves the structure of XML document. The purpose of this article is to automate transformation process of an XML schema to an ODL database. Our work focuses on preserving semantic transformation of Non-monotonic inheritance relationships with constraints and we describe set of rules to create ODL classes from a XML schema. The experimental study shows that the approach is feasible, and results are the same, the source database is transformed into target one without loss of data.
