摘要：
In this paper a model for design of reinforced concrete frames according to the shakedown theory is presented. While expecting a certain amount of damage to dissipate energy the Capacity Design Method provides constructive rules to ensure a better behavior of the structure. This method will be extended with a computational approach to proof the efficiency and safety of the design.
