摘要
As is well known, precision machining of steel with monocrystalline diamond tools is difficult to achieve due to catastrophic tool wear. The goal of this work is to explore the wear reducing effect: ion implanted diamond tools and of protective hard coatings. Moreover, the performance of nano grained alumina cutting tools were investigated.
