Delta T Source Location in AE Signal Processing Technique

摘要
Acoustic emission (AE) technique has considered as an influential non-destructive technique in the source location. Time of arrival (TOA) is a conventional method of it. Again, Delta T method is a unique source location technique, especially in case of complex structures. In this research, a unique technique, Delta T that uses TOA information, have been conducted on a steel plate as a plausible source location technique. Results show that the accuracy of the source location increased with the increase of the grid density and the number of nodes.
