摘要
With the development of technology, the demand for energy becomes more and more important. Renewable energy precisely wind energy is a highly significant and viable solution, for fulfilling power demand and alleviating the harmful effect of traditional energy sources. In this context, many researchers are working on the challenge to capture the maximum power of the wind turbine conversion system. New control techniques are used including proportional integral-derivative (PID), optimal, and fuzzy logic. This paper provides an overview of control strategies and improvement of performances for horizontal wind turbines.
