摘要
In Cuba, policies of safety energetic and hydrological are applied, to decrease the effect of the current worldwide crisis of energy and the drinking water insufficiency. The renewable sources of energy and the alternatives to mitigate the impact of the climatic change on the availability of water are applied, between them, the use of the biomass. The insufficiency of water and the possibility of the use of the biomass as own source of energy, are elements that support the use of air cooled condenser (ACC) in the planned Biomass Power Plant. This project has 25 facilities, that will supply 1.1 million people's requests with own sources of energy, while they are protected the access to water and the essential services related with this required for 485840 persons. The cost of initial investment is equal to 1012 million USD, turning out well a yearly saving of 119.2 million for reduction of imports of fuels and mitigation from emissions to the environment. It is gotten to reduce the cost leveled of the energy in a 32% and they are created besides a total of 1 500 new jobs in back depressed country. The objective of this work is to define the social impact associated with the technical-economic effect of the use of ACC technology in the planned CEBs.
