The Analysis of the Integrated River Basin Management Models

The river basin management is an overall, effective management of water and land resources and water environment in the watershed. This process requires the application according to the law to regulate the water resources management, the democratic decision making process and the diversification of the specialists. In this paper, several successful basin management models were introduced, including the Murray - Darling river basin management with the emphasis on the intra - state councils, the Tennessee river basin management with the strengthened integrate river basin management authority and the Rhone river basin management with the special enterprise harnessing mechanism. The author analyse the difference rule of the management models, and analyse the features of the Yellow River management model.
