摘要
In nowadays industry, due to rising pressure from the market in terms of quality, productivity and cost reduction the inspection process becomes one of the main focuses for engineering studies. It is well known that the quality inspections are time-consuming processes and wherever involve manual setups or direct measurements will always be a potential failure risk. One of the main disadvantages of the actual CMM is the manual alignment sequence that act for highly automated production flows as bottle necks and could lead to alignment errors and consequently to false inspection reports. This paper proposes an automated solution instead of manual alignments based on laser sensors and shape recognition algorithm.
