摘要
Researches on influencing factor of corporate social responsibility (CSR) typically measure CSR from a behavioral perspective. They lack revealing the organizational -internal mechanism within organizations. Hence, this study adopts management's attention to CSR, an important antecedent of CSR behavior, to investigate the topic. Drawing on attention-based theory, this study develops hypothesis concerning the influence that analyst's attention has on management's attention to CSR. This study finds that analyst's attention weakens manager's attention to CSR. This research extends beyond the behavioral perspective by highlighting the role of attention focus in manager's strategic decision-making process.
