Multiple attribute decision making technique using single-valued neutrosophic trigonometric Dombi aggregation operators

Dombi operations have the advantage of flexible operations corresponding to a changeable parameter. Then, in the existing literature, the Dombi operations lack the periodic/multitemporal operation property, and also there are no trigonometric Dombi aggregation operators for multiple attribute decision making (MADM), which show their limitation and research gap in multiple periodic MADM applications. To address their limitation and research gap, the main objective of this paper is to propose some single-valued neutrosophic element (SvNE) trigonometric Dombi aggregation operators for MADM problems. Based on this motivation, this study mainly includes the following contexts. First, we propose the trigonometric Dombi operations and the trigonometric Dombi operation laws of SvNEs based on sine and arcsine functions. Second, we establish the SvNE arcsine and sine trigonometric Dombi weighted average (SvNEASTDWA) and SvNE arcsine and sine trigonometric Dombi weighted geometric (SvNEASTDWG) operators and discuss their features. Third, a MADM technique is developed in terms of the SvNEASTDWA and SvNEASTDWG operators to tackle periodic/multitemporal MADM problems. Finally, the proposed technique is applied to a case study on the selection of COVID-19 vaccines to validate its rationality and validity under the scenario of SvNEs. Comparative results reveal that the established MADM technique using the SvNEASTDWA and SvNEASTDWG operators can show the advantage of both periodicity and flexibility and meet the flexible and multitemporal MADM requirements in actual applications.
