An effective power sharing among distributed generators in hybrid microgrid with DFIG as an active interlinking source

摘要
In a conventional hybrid microgrid(HMG), one or more bidirectional interlinking converters(BICs) manage the proper power sharing between ac and dc subgrids and also affect the stability and efficiency of the sys. Thenpaper introduces a novel architecture and control strategy for an HMG comprised of DFIG based wind turbines where DFIG act as an active interlinking source between ac and dc subgrid along with the BIC. The stator winding of DFIG fed ac supply to ac subgrid directly, whereas rotor winding supplies the dc subgrid through the rotor side converter(RSC). The role of a DFIG in this paper as an active interlinking source improves the system's stability by reducing its order due to the absence of a grid side converter(GSC) and by introducing the inertia effect. In addition, the control scheme of DFIG makes power sharing among distributed generators(DGs) more efficient, along with the droop based BIC controller.
