摘要
This paper aims to investigate the effect of psychological ownership on knowledge hiding and the extent to which this relationship is weakened or strengthened by affective and continuance commitment. Territoriality was tested as mediating variable in this research. This relationship is explained using conservation of resource theory and territorial theory. Data were collected from 180 banking employees in Indonesia through a questionnaire survey. Hierarchical regression is used to test research hypotheses. Findings revealed that psychological ownership has a positive effect on knowledge hiding. Territoriality mediates the effect of psychological ownership on knowledge hiding. Affective commitment is proven to increase the influence of psychological ownership on knowledge hiding, while the findings of continuance commitment to the influence of psychological ownership on knowledge hiding do not support the hypothesis but show an interesting finding.
