Die Zahl der Darmkrebsfalle, die vor dem 50. Lebensjahr diagnostiziert werden, nimmt zu. Zu verstehen, wie sich die molekularen Merkmale kolorektaler Tumore je nach Alter und Tumorlokalisation unterscheiden, ist wichtig fur die personalisierte Behandlung von Patienten. Ugai et al. untersuchten, inwieweit sich molekulare Merkmale bei fruh im Vergleich zu spat auftretendem Darmkrebs unterscheiden.
