摘要
In recent times, heterogeneous catalysts that are loaded with biomass carbon have emerged as a potential alternative solution for the removal of industrial wastewater. In this study, we innovatively selected alginate hydrogels that were loaded with biomass carbon to improve the stability of the polymer. The hydrogel system achieved 69.2% phenol degradation after the reaction which demonstrated excellent performance. The hydrogel spheres that were obtained were characterized using SEM, FTIR, and XPS. Furthermore, we investigated the effects of H2O2 concentration, metal content, and pH on the degradation of phenol. The hydrogel system that was prepared using the ultra-convenient method in this study demonstrated excellent contaminant degradation.
