摘要：
Este estudio analizo la dinamica del patron de ventajas comparativas de exportacion para un grupo de tres bebidas alcoholicas-mezcal, tequila y ron-, durante el periodo de 1994 hasta el 2020. Se desarrollo un indice de Ventaja Comparativa Revelada Normaliza a traves de diferentes bases de datos, donde se publicaron las exportaciones que tiene Mexico a nivel mundial en estos productos. Los resultados mostraron una fuerte correlacion de competitividad en mezcal y tequila, con un valor del indice de ventaja comparativa mayor a cero. Ademas, se observo una tendencia alcista de largo plazo. En cambio, el ron mostro un valor negativo (no competitivo) en el indice. Se concluye que el metodo utilizado permitio hacer un diagnostico sobre las bebidas alcoholicas segun las tendencias de consumo, se identificaron los productos que tienen mayor relevancia en el mercado internacional y cuales se encuentran en vulnerabilidad.
