摘要
In their article, Cantor and colleagues report a systematic review commissioned by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality that tackles the definition and measurement of respectful maternity care, a key indicator of perinatal quality and a critical focus of current quality improvement initiatives. The editorial discusses the findings and the substantial work that lies ahead to address the staggering reports of disrespect in maternity care from both affluent and impoverished nations.
