摘要：
Nachdem eine Therapie mit dem humanen monoklonalen Antikorper Teplizumab in einer Studie die Manifestation eines Typ-1-Diabetes bei Kindern mit hohem Risiko um knapp 3 Jahre verzogern konnte, ist die Suche nach den zugrunde liegenden Mechanismen einer Progression in vollem Gange. So wollten Sims et al. mogliche Unterschiedene zwischen Progressoren und Nicht-Progressoren identifizieren und haben eine retrospektive Beobachtungsstudie durchgefuhrt.
