摘要
Aims. - To investigate the effects of 12-weeks moderate-intensity intermittent training (MIIT) vs. high-intensity-intermittent training (HIIT) on parathyroid-hormone (PTH), growth hormone (GH), adrenocorticotrophic hormone (ACTH) and total-calcium (CT). Methods. - Twenty-one overweight/obese adolescents were randomly assigned to control-group (n = 7), moderate-intensity-intermittent-group (MIIG; n = 7) and high-intensity- intermittent-group (HIIG; n = 7). Results. -HIIG and MIIG demonstrated reduced percent body fat, body mass index and waist circumference (P < 0.01). PTH decreased in the MIIG (-9.3%; P < 0.01), but GH increased in MIIG and HIIG (80.2% and 82.8%; both P < 0.01, respectively). No changes were recorded in ACTH and CT levels (P > 0.05). Conclusion. - The stimulation of parathyroid function is more sensitive to training intensity than duration. (C) 2023 Elsevier Masson SAS. All rights reserved.
