摘要
Precision Livestock Farming is already being implemented in the livestock industry. Advancing digitalization and developments in the electronics industry will continue to make it possible to introduce cost-effective sensors, camera and evaluation systems into animal husbandry. In this way, process data, whether individual to the animal or to the group, will make it possible to contribute to environmental protection and increase animal welfare. This can result, for example, in an improved breeding line, an improved feed recipe, optimized control of the process parameters of the systems or, in principle, an improved husbandry environment for the animals by adapting the technology to their natural behavior. In the course of digitalization and supply chain management, this can result in opportunities to use animal and process data profitably.
