Through this research, we seek to make a clear description of the concept of work, taking into account international and national regulations so that under this concept a review can be provided regarding the job stability that Human Rights defenders have. and how vulnerable they are to systematic violations against their Human Rights for participating in a social activity. In this same sense, we seek to take into account the functions performed by a defender of Human Rights since in Resolution 1671/1999 where the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights and the Organization of American States establishes who are defenders of Human Rights and what functions they must fulfill. The purpose of this document is to investigate and make known the non-compliance by the Colombian State with the protection and guarantee as a social State of rights and being a State party to the ratification of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, of those who exercise this exercise to the defense of Human Rights in Colombia, involving the increase in murders of our Human Rights defenders in Colombia, examining the international conventions and treaties, ratified by Colombia, where protection of life, security and freedom is sought labor, taking into account the different resolutions and directives by state entities in Colombia where they seek to minimize human rights violations of our Human Rights defenders in Colombia and proposing strategies for their protection thanks to existing public policies or complementing them. to the different state programs and strategies that exist against these violations of Human Rights.
