摘要
This article presents a systematic literature review that aimed to map the approaches and perspectives of research related to the provision of distance education in Brazilian legal education. Law courses in Brazil are currently offered only in face-to-face teaching. However, there are several movements for this to be implemented also in the distance mode, as well as there are already several practices of offering disciplines with a workload at a distance, in face-to-face courses. To carry out the searches for publications, it was limited to the productions of the last ten years (2012-2022) registered in Google Scholar databases, Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD) and the Catalog of Theses and Dissertations of CAPES. A total of nineteen publications were selected for analysis and the results indicate three discussion approaches, namely: a) Teaching-learning: teaching perspective; b) Teaching-learning: student perspective; c) EaD and legal education and d) Evolution of higher education (general and legal education). As for the perspectives of studies, it was concluded that there is a research gap related to knowledge about the profile and interest of students, so it becomes of salutary importance to develop future research on the subject.
