摘要
The growing modernization and specialization of the automotive sector has generated the need for a constant updating of knowledge and development of skills, putting at the center of the debate the urgent need to generate effective links with Higher Education. Under this premise, a training program aimed at teachers in the automotive area was analyzed, which was carried out between the Citroen and Peugeot companies and a Chilean University. Under a qualitative approach, the perceptions of teachers about the training received were investigated. The high valuation in the updating of knowledge and in the use of active methodologies will be highlighted. The training focused on collaborative work and teaching reflection, central elements for improving their professional skills contextualized to the needs of the automotive company. This training, with an active approach, contributed to the teachers in training, in the transfer of their learning to their own students in the automotive area. This training can be transferred to other fields of engineering, both in its pedagogical and disciplinary value.
