摘要：
Coordination between the right to adapt and the right to terminate the contract is one of the most controversial issues regarding unexpected circumstances. This essay aims, in the first place, at reconstructing the concept of modification and, secondly, building upon the reconstruction of the concept, at making a case for a strong precedence or strong priority of modification over termination.
