Intelligent reflecting surface (IRS) is a promising technology for channel readjustment. In this letter, we investigate the simultaneous lightwave information and power transfer (SLIPT) technique deployed for the visible light communication (VLC) system, and implement SLIPT by adjusting the association between optical IRS (OIRS) and transceivers to maximize the harvested energy while guaranteeing the achievable data rate. Further, a binary assignment matrix is introduced to represent the association behavior mentioned above, and then the problem is solved by relaxing the constraints of the assignment matrix. Moreover, an iterative optimization algorithm and a greedy strategy are also proposed to solve the non-convex problem. The simulation results demonstrate that the OIRS-assisted approach achieves greater gain for the VLC system compared to that without OIRS.
