Construction and validation of the ambivalent sexism scale for children in educational institutions of Huanchaco

The present investigation started from a genuine desire to be able to do something against gender violence, the reality that we have now is difficult and has demeaning consequences for the female sex. Sexist beliefs are formed at an early age and are acquired through culture and modeling. It is at this critical stage of development where they must be confronted and modulated constructively, for which an instrument must be available. The scale was built with children from the Huanchaco area and its content and construct validity could be established, as well as its reliability and scales were made.
