The Journal of Internet Commerce (JIC) has been a leading peer-reviewed journal focusing on the influence of the internet in all aspects of commerce since 2002. This study analyses the bibliometric data of articles and reviews published in JIC between 2002 and 2021 using indicators that include annual citation structure, most cited documents of JIC, and the topmost productive author, institutions and countries. Additionally, the VOS viewer software has been used to visualize bibliometric data in the form of co-citation, bibliographic coupling, and cooccurrences of the authors, institutions, countries, and keywords published in JIC. The results also suggest the area where the JIC should focus in the future based on the bibliographic data and considering the changing online landscape. It is also noted that the relative performance of JIC is good compared to other leading journals in the domain.
