Bibliometric Analysis of a Human Movement Science Journal: A Case Study

The objective of this research was to analyze the scientific production of a Colombian Journal in Human Movement Sciences. 131 documents published between 2011 and 2022 were analyzed based on indicators such as keywords, authors, institutional affiliation, countries, departments, language, sampling, research design, theme, and metric indices. The information was obtained from its online version and to obtain the citation index, the information provided by Google academic was used. The results show an average of 2.5 authors, the internationalization of the journal has increased, where 41.7% of the authors are from other countries. The Santo Tomas University is the most productive and the one with the greatest number of collaboration networks. Finally, the Citation Index indicates that the most cited article has been cited 160 times, the Price Index is 37.6%, and the Multilingualism Index is 37.7%.
